Alison Ngibuini is the founder of Al Is On Productions Limited, a company involved in producing television programmes and commercials.
Some of the notable shows produced by the company include Staying Alive, The Zain Africa Challenge, Siri and Shuga. Ngibuini also created, wrote and produced the TV show Mali – a first of its kind in Kenya to be allocated a thrice weekly slot on NTV, one of the leading TV stations. This hit TV series won a number of awards at the Kalasha International Awards organised by the Kenya Film Commission.
Ngibuini has also worked on big film productions like The Constant Gardener, Love Actually and Seconds Before Disaster: 2008 Nairobi Bombing. She began her career as an assistant at an advertising agency and went on to be featured twice in the Business Daily as one of its ‘Top 40 Under 40’ women – a prestigious annual award that recognises the top 40 women under the age of 40 who have achieved remarkable milestones in various spheres.
Ngibuini’s first degree is in Marketing and Hotel Management and she read for a Master’s in Business Administration at the University of Liverpool.
